The Challenge
Great Circle is the culmination of several mergers of non-profit children’s service organizations. At the time of the campaign, the two most recognized legacy organizations included Edgewood and Boys’ and Girls’ Town of Missouri. Who was Great Circle? How would they be known as a leading organization for children and families, when they were historically known as an orphanage or residential facility for troubled youth?
The Solution
The “Campaign For the Path Ahead” was a call to the community to look to the future and support something new. A campaign for children and families in St. Louis and beyond. The formation of the concept of the first-ever Regional Family Engagement Center was developed during the campaign organization and the campaign served as a launchpad to promote it.
The Impact
$20 million dollars was raised in support of the campaign that totally updated and transformed the Webster Groves campus. The campaign served as a catalyst to an organization that has transitioned from a social service model to a community and mental health organization that meets the emerging needs of children and families across the state.
